Relative clauses

We use who, that, which and where to join sentences; they are relative pronouns:
who = person/people
es. I met the man who works in the bank
which/that = thing/things
I bought the coat which/that was in the shop window
where (in which) = place
es. The hotel where we stayed was very comfortable

Who, which and that can be the subject of a relative clause.
es. he's the man who/that works in the bank
Who, which and that can also be the object of a relative clause.
es. He's the man who/that Anna loves.
We often leave out the relative prounoun when it is the object.
es. He's the man Anna loves.
